"Do Not Circulate Photographs of Ballot Papers" : NEC Informs Voters

COLOMBO (News 1st): The National Election Commission requests all voters not to photograph the official ballot paper or an instance of votes being cast, in the ongoing Parliamentary election. 

The Commission requests voters to refrain from circulating such photographs and videos on social media. 

The National Election Commission also says that legal action will be taken against individuals committing such actions, considering it an election law violation.
