A senior official from the Ministry of Public Administration further said that former minister Sanath Nishantha's residence will be handed over by tomorrow, as instructed to his wife.

Additionally, the Ministry has informed the relatives of R. R. Sampanthan that his official residence must be returned immediately.

Regarding the official residence provided to Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapakse, the Ministry explained that there were some issues with the property’s documents, which is why the house has not yet been returned.

However, when inquired about this, Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapakse clarified that he had returned the residence several months ago.
