Appointment of Interns for 1,456 New Doctors

COLOMBO (News 1st): Intern training appointments have been given to 1456 new doctors.

The training program will be led by the Secretary of the Ministry of Health Palitha Mahipala.

Director of Tertiary Care Services of the Ministry of Health Dr. Priyantha Athapattu said that will report to work tomorrow at 62 hospitals.

Among them are graduates from the local medical faculties of state universities, the Kotalawala Defense University Medical Faculty and the Sri Lanka Medical Council as well as foreign graduates who have passed the examination.
