Fake Security Call: Father and Son Detained

COLOMBO (News 1st); A father, son duo have been arrested in connection with a fake phone call regarding security at Bandaranaike International Airport. 

According to Sri Lanka Police, the suspects made the fraudulent call to the airport's telephone operator the day before yesterday.

Senior police officials reported that during an investigation by the Negombo Division Crimes Investigation Unit, a 67-year-old man from Wariyapola and his 30-year-old son were apprehended.
