Ex-Minister Johnston's Drivers Arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two drivers of former Minister Johnston Fernando have been arrested. 

According to Police Spokesperson DIG Nihal Thalduwa, the arrests were made in connection with an incident where a luxury vehicle, allegedly belonging to Fernando, was brought to a hotel.

The vehicle, which was reportedly assembled from imported parts and not legally registered, was discovered at a luxury hotel in Colombo.

Johnston Fernando is currently in remand custody over this incident.

The arrested suspects are residents of Wadduwa and Polgahawela.
