G.C.E. A/L Exams To Commence, Korean Language Debuts

COLOMBO (News 1st); The G.C.E. A/Level Examinations begin tomorrow, January 3rd, across 2,258 centers island-wide. 

Over 346,000 hopeful candidates, comprised of 281,445 school applicants and 65,531 private applicants, are gearing up to take the exams.

However, due to the ongoing rain and flood situation, the Examination Department has implemented a minor rescheduling measure. 

Candidates originally scheduled to sit their exams at the Kekirawa Madatugama Revatha Vidyalaya will now do so at the Galkiriagama Madhya Maha Vidyalaya. 

The Korean language joins the roster of subjects available for the G.C.E. A/Level examination this year.
