General Elections: Key Meeting Today

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Election Commission is set to meet today to discuss important details regarding the upcoming general elections.

The meeting will focus on reaching a final agreement on the budget, estimated at around Rs.11 billion, and securing funds through the Ministry of Finance.

District returning officers will also attend the meeting to discuss necessary preparations for the elections.

The general elections are scheduled for November 14.
