Island-Wide Pubs & Taverns Closed On Election Days

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Excise Department has announced that all pubs and taverns across the island will be closed on September 21st and 22nd, coinciding with the presidential election.
This decision follows a request from the Election Commission, as confirmed by Excise Commissioner General M.G. Gunasiri.
