New Political Alliance in Support of Ranil

COLOMBO (News 1st): A new alliance will be formed today to support the independent presidential candidate, Ranil Wickramasinghe.
This alliance is spearheaded by several prominent MPs and Ministers from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).
The new alliance will be chaired by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.
Minister Ramesh Pathirana has been appointed as the secretary of the alliance.
