Two Indian Fishers Missing After Vessel Capsizes

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two Indian fishermen are missing after an Indian vessel capsized in the seas off Kachchathivu, near the Indian Sea border. 

The incident occurred earlier today, prompting a swift response from the Sri Lanka Navy.

Navy spokesperson Captain Gayan Wickramasuriya reported that two other fishermen, who were in danger after the vessel overturned, were successfully rescued.

The search and rescue operation is ongoing to locate the missing fishermen.
