Government to Waive Tourist Visa Fees for 25 Countries

COLOMBO (News 1st) – In a bid to promote the tourism industry, the government has decided to waive tourist visa fees for visitors from 25 countries.
Minister of Public Security, Tiran Alles, confirmed that the proposal was discussed in the cabinet.
The decision will be implemented once the proposal is presented to Parliament and passed.
This initiative follows a previous policy where tourist visa fees were waived for visitors from seven countries.
