Fatal Collision at Kosgoda Railway Crossing

COLOMBO (News 1st); A tragic accident occurred this morning at a railway crossing in the Maha-induruwa area, in Kosgoda, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to another. 

According to police reports, a lorry collided with a train traveling from Dikwella to Mahawa. 

The impact of the collision led to the death of a 55-year-old man, while another individual sustained injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.
