Central Environment Authority Gets New Chairman

COLOMBO (News 1st); U.D.C. Jayalal was appointed as the Chairman of the Central Environment Authority.

The appointment was made by the President as the Minister of Environment.

U.D.C. Jayalal a senior officer in the administrative service of Sri Lanka, previously worked as a district secretary and secretary to ministries.

He was appointed as the chairman of the Central Environment Authority, following the removal of Venura Fernando.
