COLOMBO (News1st); The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation said a decision was reached to call for bids from investors for the purchase of SriLankan Airlines once again.
Its Secretary K.D.S. Ruwanchandra said the relevant proposals were submitted to the committee appointed by the Cabinet.
Earlier, bids were called from local and foreign investors to purchase SriLankan Airlines.
At the time, six investors submitted bids, of which five of them were disqualified.
