Sri Lanka Police Probing Fake Letter

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police have categorically denied issuing any letter under the heading "CENTRAL OFFICE FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST CRIME RELATED TO INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY" dated July 1st.

The letter, which appeared on a yellow background, falsely claims to be from the Chief of Police.
