Over 1200 kg of drugs to be destroyed in Wanathavilluwa today

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Police said that a massive drug haul will be destroyed this morning in Wanathavilluwa, following a concluded court case.

According to the Police Media Division, the drugs weighed over 1,200 kilograms in total.

The specific types of drugs to be destroyed include 614 kg and 36 grams of Ice, 581 kg and 34 grams of Ketamine, and 13 kg and 686 grams of Heroin. The destruction will take place at Lactose Estate in Wanathavilluwa.

Police officials said the Police Narcotics Bureau will retrieve the drugs from the Colombo High Court this morning.
