COLOMBO (News1st); 161 dengue cases have been reported during the past 24 hours.
The National Dengue Control Unit said 2,044 dengue cases have been reported in Sri Lanka within the past 20 days of this month, a sharp spike compared to last month.
2,647 dengue cases were reported in May 2024.
26,964 patients have been reported so far this year.
The highest number of patients were reported from the Western Province.
Nine dengue-related deaths were also reported during this year.
