Modernized Mihintale Railway Line To Be Launched Today

Colombo(News1st) Minister of Transport, Highways and Mass Media, Dr. Bandula Gunawardena, will officially open the modernized Mihintale railway line and the new connecting line from Anuradhapura today.

The new section, built with Indian loan assistance, extends from Anuradhapura to Mihintale Junction, while the existing Mihintale line received upgrades from the Sri Lankan railway department.
