President meets government parliamentary group

COLOMBO (News1st); The government's Parliamentary group convened in Battaramulla on Thursday (06) evening, chaired by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The meeting focused on the future political situation.

During the meeting, the President said that everyone must work together.

31 members of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna attended the meeting.

Political sources said chairmen of the district coordination committees were also invited to the meeting.

However, SLPP National Organizer Namal Rajapaksa and SLPP General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam did not attend the discussion.
