Criminal Mastermind 'Midigama Ruwan' Extradited to Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); Ruwan Chamara alias Midigama Ruwan, an individual implicated in organized criminal activities and a primary suspect associated with an international narcotics syndicate, has been extradited to Sri Lanka from Dubai.

According to law enforcement officials, a specialized team from the Criminal Investigation Department facilitated his transfer to the country earlier today.

Midigama Ruwan is suspected of orchestrating an attempted operation to extricate Harak Kata, also known as Nadun Chinthaka, from the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department.

Notably, Midigama Ruwan was apprehended by authorities in Dubai approximately two months ago.
