16 people injured in Pelmadulla accident

COLOMBO (News1st); 16 people have been injured when a bus collided with a three-wheeler in Pelmadulla, along the Colombo-Badulla Road.

Sri Lanka Police said three people traveling in the three-wheeler were among the injured.

They have been admitted to the Pelmadulla, Ratnapura, and Kahawatta hospitals.

Sri Lanka Police said the bus skidded off the road and fell several feet into a precipice on Wednesday (29) morning.

In a separate incident, a 44-year-old man died after a cab met with an accident in Habarakada, along the Colombo-Meegoda main road.
