COLOMBO (News1st); Anuruddha Shanaka Bandara was elected President of the Sri Lanka Boxing Association (BASL).
The vote to elect new office bearers for the Sri Lanka Boxing Association was held at the Association's headquarters on Tuesday (21) evening, after 22 years.
Bandara received 10 votes, while his opponent, former Vice President of the Association Wasantha Kumara, received five votes.
DIG Saman Gunaratne was elected Secretary of the Sri Lanka Boxing Association.
