44-year-old man assaulted and killed in Moronthuduwa

COLOMBO (News1st); A 44-year-old man has been assaulted and killed in Nanduwa, Moronthuduwa.
Sri Lanka Police said he was assaulted on Tuesday (21) night when attempting to settle a family dispute between his sister and her husband.
The assault was carried out by the sister's husband and her father-in-law.
Investigations are underway to arrest the suspects.
In a separate incident, one person who lived alone in a house in Jampattah Street, Colombo has been murdered.
Sri Lanka Police said the body of the 60-year-old man was found early this morning.
