Three-day debate on 2019 Easter attacks to commence in Parliament

COLOMBO (News1st); The three-day adjournment debate on the 2019 Easter attacks will commence in Parliament on Wednesday (24).

The debate is being held based on a decision reached at the party leaders' meeting held on the 5th of April.

Several amendments to the Code Of Criminal Procedure Act will also be debated when Parliament convenes at 9.30 am on Wednesday (24).

Several orders under the Poisons, Opium, and Dangerous Drugs Ordinance will also be debated in Parliament on Wednesday (24).
