Fatal Attack: Man Killed Over Firebox Dispute

COLOMBO (News 1st); In the Keeragala area of Kuruvita, a tragic incident unfolded as a 59-year-old man lost his life.

The unfortunate events began when an intoxicated individual approached the victim's house last night, requesting a firebox.

However, due to a delay in providing it, the suspect had became verbally aggressive towards the deceased.

When confronted about this behavior, the situation escalated, resulting in a fatal kick from the assailant.

The suspect responsible for the murder has since fled the area, and authorities are investigating the case.
