Navy Hands Over National Flag, Ceremonial Guard Duties To Air Force

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Navy handed over the customary duty of the hoisting of National Flag at the Galle Face to the Sri Lanka Air Force on 31st March 2024 at the Galle Face Green.

In the same vein the performance of Ceremonial Guard duties at the President’s House was also handed over to the Air Force at the Air Force Headquarters today (01st April).

Accordingly, the Sri Lanka Air Force will be performing the duties of the hoisting of the National Flag at the Galle Face and the Ceremonial Guard at the President’s House for the next 03 month.
