COLOMBO (News1st); One person has died in a Police shooting in Ranmuthugala, Narammala.
Sri Lanka Police said an individual who was attempting to commit theft was shot early on Wednesday (27) morning.
The suspect, who operated a fake business claiming to sell mobile phones online, attempted to rob a customer.
Sri Lanka Police said the 28-year-old suspect was shot and he died in the shooting.
