Origin of Wellawatta Fire Still Unknown

COLOMBO (News 1st); The blaze that occurred at a ready-made clothing establishment in the Wellawatte area has resulted in extensive damage to the premises.

Law enforcement authorities stated that police personnel, in collaboration with fire fighting units from Maradana, Dehiwala, and Hettiyawatte, collectively extinguished the blaze.

According to police sources, the origin of the fire remains undisclosed, and a comprehensive assessment of the incurred damages is pending.
