Drug Dealer's Associate Arrested With Heroin

COLOMBO (News 1st); Officers from the Valana Anti-Vice Strike Force apprehended a suspect in the Balagewatta area in Hanwella, after he was found to be in possession of over 1 kg of heroin.

During the operation, the police seized three mobile phones, five bank account books, and four bank cards associated with various financial institutions.

The apprehended individual is a 42-year-old resident of Brandigampala.

Further investigation has revealed that he is closely related to a drug distributor associated with a drug dealer currently incarcerated.

Investigations are underway.
