COLOMBO (News 1st); The representatives of all registered political parties in Sri Lanka, which are currently not represented in Parliament, have been summoned before the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Alleviating the Impact of the Economic Crisis.
The Sectoral Oversight Committee on Alleviating the Impact of the Economic Crisis, chaired by Parliamentarian Gamini Valeboda, seeks to provide a platform for these unrepresented parties to present their proposals directly to the Parliament.
Until now, these parties have not had an opportunity to voice their concerns or contribute to the parliamentary discourse regarding the economic crisis.
Sectoral Oversight Committee on Alleviating the Impact of the Economic Crisis is scheduled to convene in Parliament tomorrow at 1:00 PM.
