IMF Mission To Visit Sri Lanka This Week

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Finance has announced that a team of International Monetary Fund (IMF) officials is set to visit the island nation on Thursday (7). 

The visit aims to address critical financial matters, particularly related to the third tranche of the IMF-supported program for Sri Lanka.

Mahinda Siriwardena, Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, confirmed the upcoming visit. 

The IMF officials are scheduled to hold discussions with key stakeholders, including President Ranil Wickramasinghe and other high-ranking officials.
