Central Bank Officials Summoned Over Salary Hike

COLOMBO (News 1st); In a decisive move during today's party leaders' meeting, it was resolved to summon Central Bank officials to the parliament for an inquiry regarding salary adjustments. 

The scheduled appearance of Central Bank officials is set for next Tuesday at 10:30 am.

During this session, parliamentarians will seek clarifications on matters related to salary increments. 

In addition, the party leaders also agreed on the dates for the upcoming parliamentary sessions. 

The three-day parliament meeting is slated to convene on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week.
