Sri Lanka Sees Housing Boom: Building Units Surge Two Million Since 2011 Census

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Census and Statistics has revealed a significant increase in housing units across Sri Lanka, with a two million rise compared to the 2011 census data. 

Director, Anoja Senaviratne said that the 2011 census recorded around six million building units, while this year's figure is expected to exceed 8.4 million.
