(VIDEO) Military Skydivers Injured in Parachute Mishap

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two Sri Lankan military skydivers were injured today after their parachutes became entangled mid-air, causing them to crash land in Colombo. 

The incident occurred during rehearsals for the upcoming 76th Independence Day celebrations scheduled for February 4th.

According to reports, he skydivers were part of a team performing a demonstration jump over Galle Face Green, a popular coastal park in Colombo. 

Their parachutes unexpectedly became entangled shortly after deployment, causing them to lose control and descend rapidly.

Both skydivers were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where they are receiving treatment for their injuries.
