One dead, five injured in an accident in Sella Kataragama

COLOMBO (News 1st); One person has died and five others have sustained injuries when a van met with an accident in Sella Kataragama.

Police said the van driving towards Kataragama from Sella Kataragama collided with a motorcycle parked near the road, two trees and a truck.

Police said six people, including the driver of the van, were admitted to hospital, and one of them succumbed to injuries.

Police added that the others were transferred to the Hambantota Hospital for further treatment.
