Another 963 suspects arrested during Operation 'Yukthiya'

COLOMBO (News 1st); Another 963 suspects have been arrested during Operation 'Yukthiya', over the 24 hours that ended at 12.30 on Friday (19) morning.
The Ministry of Public Security said 638 of them were arrested on charges related to drugs.
325 suspects on the list directed to the Crimes Unit have also been arrested.
Police said 300 grams of heroin and 172 grams of ICE were also seized from the suspects.
The Ministry of Public Security said warrants had been issued on 228 of the arrested suspects.
