Navy arrest 02 suspects with 10,600 Pregabalin capsules in Talaimannar

COLOMBO (News 1st) The Sri Lanka Navy and Police STF apprehended 02 suspects with 10,600 Pregabalin capsules and a motorcycle, during special search operations conducted in Mihinthale and Kattukarayankudirippu of Talaimannar.

The suspect was peddling these medicinal drugs on a motorcycle when he was searched on suspicion.

In a separate operation mounted by SLNS Talaimannar with the assistance of the Police STF Northern Province Special Raid Unit in Kattukarayankudirippu, a person was interrogated on suspicion Based on information revealed by the suspect.

Naval and Police personnel discovered a sack of 10,500 Pregabalin capsules hidden away.
