Singaporean Expertise to Shape Sri Lanka's Urban Future

COLOMBO (News 1st); Representatives from Singapore's renowned Surbana Jurong, a leading firm in urban development and infrastructure consulting, are visiting Trincomalee today as part of an extensive review of Sri Lanka's megapolis plans.

Prasad Ranaweera, Director General of the Urban Development Authority, confirmed the delegation's arrival and their reviewing of projects in Colombo and Gampaha districts yesterday. 

Their mission is to analyze three key development plans namely the, Western Megapolis Plan, Eastern Development Plan Centered around Trincomalee, and the Southern Development Plan with Hambantota at its core.
