Technical fault likely to cause train delays along main line

COLOMBO (News 1st); The night mail train plying from Kankesanturai to Colombo experienced a technical fault on Friday (08) morning, between the Gampaha and Veyangoda railway stations.
Railway Traffic Superintendent M.J. Idipolage said as a result only one lane of the main railway line is operational between the Veyangoda and Gampaha stations.
He said this could result in train delays along the main line.
