Be aware of increasing scamming text messages says the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team

Colombo (News 1st): The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team informs the public to be aware of text messages received on mobile phones claiming to be from various financial institutions.

Its Chief Information Security Officer Nirosh Ananda said that many complaints have been received regarding victims of financial fraud through such messages.
