Date for No-Confidence Motion against Health Minister TBD this week

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Member of Parliament Lakshman Kiriella, the chief opposition whip, has announced that the date for debating the motion of no confidence against the Minister of Health will be decided this week.

He mentioned that the relevant date will be finalized during the upcoming party leaders meeting.

Minister Kiriella added that currently, 45 MPs have signed the motion, and it is expected that others who have not signed yet will also lend their support.

The motion aims to hold the Minister accountable for his actions and decisions in managing the health sector.
