Thirteen people injured in accident when two private buses collided along the Colombo - Kandy road.

Colombo (News 1st): Thirteen people were injured in an accident when two private buses collided in the Kamburadeniya area on the Colombo - Kandy road.

The accident took place last night when a bus traveling from Vavuniya towards Colombo collided into the back of a bus traveling in the same direction.

The injured passengers were admitted to the Warakapola Hospital.

Among them, 4 people who were in serious condition have been transferred to the Colombo National Hospital and Kegalle General Hospital.

Three women were among the injured.

The Dangovita Police is conducting further investigations into the accident.
