The Paddy Marketing Board receive another Rs.250 million for the purchase of Paddy

Colombo (News 1st): The Paddy Marketing Board says that they received another 250 million rupees for the purchase of Paddy.

Its chairman Buddhika Iddamalgoda said that the purchasing in 11 districts is currently being conducted.

He added, that 39 stores have been opened for that purpose.

250 million rupees were issued earlier to commence the purchase of paddy and those funds have been exhausted by now.

The chairman said that 2.7 million kg of paddy has been purchased.
