06 members of Trinity College's first-fifteen rugby team hospitalized

COLOMBO (News 1st) -  Six members of the first-fifteen rugby team of Trinity College, Kandy have been hospitalized in Colombo with viral fever. Today’s match scheduled versus Zahira College in Colombo will not take place, the master in charge of Trinity College rugby confirmed.

It is not clear what impact this may have on the 2nd leg of the Bradby Shield encounter versus arch rivals Royal College scheduled for next Saturday,

5th August at the Royal College Sports Complex in Colombo.Trinity won the 1st leg of the Bradby Shield encounter on 22nd July by 13-10. The shield is awarded to the winner of the aggregate points of the two matches.
