14-hour water cut in several parts of Colombo on Saturday (15)

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that a 14-hour water cut will be imposed in many areas in Colombo, from 8 am to 10 pm on Saturday (15). 

This is being done due to maintenance work on the electricity supply system from Maligakanda to the pumping stations that supply water to Eli House Reservoir.

Accordingly, water supply will be disrupted in areas of Colombo 01-04 and Colombo 07-15. 

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board informs the general public to collect the water necessary for consumption during the relevant period.
