Expressway Warning: Sri Lanka Police Advises Caution

COLOMBO (News 1st) - With adverse weather conditions in Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Police has issued a warning to drivers to exercise caution while driving on the expressways. According to Police Spokesperson SSP Nihal Thalduwa, slippery conditions are expected on the roads along the expressway.

To ensure the safety of all travelers, Police officers have been deployed to the entrances and exits of the expressway. Additionally, officers will conduct random inspections of vehicles to identify drivers who may be under the influence or violating road speed rules.

The Police spokesperson has urged the public to cooperate with officers during these times to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all travelers.
