2021 G.C.E. O/L re-correction results released

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The re-correction results of the 2021 GCE Ordinary Level Examination have been released.

The results can be obtained by visiting the official website of the Department of Examinations, www.doenets.lk.

The examination department said that 80,272 applicants had applied for rescrutiny of results this time.

Meanwhile, the Department of Examinations says that the distribution of the question papers of the 2022 GCE Ordinary Level examination to exam centers commenced at midnight yesterday (26).

Commissioner General of Examinations Amit Jayasundara says that the question papers required for 5 days will be distributed to exam centers.

He also says that the distribution of the stationery items required for the examination has been completed.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner General adds that special examination centers have been established for students with special needs, prison inmates, and cancer patients.

He says that if there are examination candidates who have contracted dengue, they will be given the opportunity to appear for the examination at the nearest examination center on medical specialist advice.

The 2022 GCE Ordinary Level examination is to commence from the 29th of May to the 8th of June. 

Commissioner General of Examinations Amit Jayasundara says that 472,553 candidates will be facing this year's examination in 3,568 exam centers across the island.
