Cycling world record holder dies in collision with car while cycling

Colombo (News 1st) - World record holder and 10-time U.S. Cycling National Champion Ethan Boyes, 44, died after being hit by a car while cycling in San Francisco, foreign media reported.
Boyes holds the world record for 1,000 metres in the men’s 35-39 years category.
He was rushed to hospital where he died. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries. Police are investigating the accident.
