GPS tracking system for all CPC fuel tankers

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Minister of Power and Energy said that GPS tracking systems will be fixed to all CPC owned Fuel tankers by 15th April and the process will be implemented for all private tankers later on.

He said that at a progress review meeting with the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and the Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited and a decision was reached to suspend 40 fuel stations that have continuously failed to adhere to QR quotas.
