India, Japan and France to launch Sri Lanka's debt restructuring negotiation process

COLOMBO (News 1st); The launch of Sri Lanka's debt restructuring negotiation process will take place on Thursday (13) in Washington, DC.

Japan, India, and France will hold a press briefing on the sidelines of the IMF - World Bank Spring Meetings to announce the launch and the three creditor countries have been closely working toward a coordinated debt restructuring plan for Sri Lanka.

Japan will be represented by Shunichi Suzuki, Minister of Finance, and Masato Kanda, Vice Minister of Finance.

India will be represented by Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of Finance.

France will be represented by its Director General of the Treasury, Emmanuel Moulin.

For Sri Lanka, Ranil Wickremesinghe, President and Minister of Finance (via online) and Shehan Semasinghe, State Minister of Finance will attend the launch.
